Rewinding the armor is not as simple as you might think. It is quite a laborious procedure, in which everything is assembled and folded with accessories and templates. We have managed to automate some of the sub-components, such as insulators and finger plates, varnishes and finishes, etc. But much of the process still has to be done by hand. Also, all windings must have the exact dimensions necessary to fit the stator. Everything is calculated: each curve, each winding, the number of windings, the wire gauge, etc.
